            <p id="isPasted"><span style="font-size: 14px;">HRUC is a successful merged College Group, bringing together Richmond Upon Thames College, Harrow College and Uxbridge College, based across 5 vibrant campuses. &nbsp; Business &amp; Service Industries at Richmond offers wide-ranging provision and has maintained highly successful outcomes for our learners.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 14px;">Reporting to the Assistant Principal for Quality and Curriculum, you will lead a team of curriculum and support staff, and will be responsible for the full range of provision on full and part time courses, including managing the quality of the provision. &nbsp;You will lead on development planning in the area, including supporting the team with preparations for qualification changes.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 14px;">We are seeking an individual with management experience gained within Further Education who can demonstrate the following:</span></p><ul id="isPasted" type="disc"><li style="font-size: 14px;">Degree or equivalent and a minimum of Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector&nbsp;</li><li style="font-size: 14px;">A skilled practitioner in teaching , learning and assessment with a Business, Sport, Travel or Catering specialism, and experience of implementing strategies to improve attendance and retention</li><li style="font-size: 14px;">Specialist knowledge and experience in Business, Sport, Travel or Catering, including knowledge of curriculum developments and recent initiatives&nbsp;</li><li style="font-size: 14px;">Understanding and practical application of inclusive learning strategies and a proven commitment to equality and diversity</li><li style="font-size: 14px;">Successful experience of managing a team, including coaching and developing staff</li><li style="font-size: 14px;">Experience of managing change and implementing new initiatives including curriculum developments</li></ul>

            <p id="isPasted">We&#39;re recruiting for a Learning Resource Centre Advisor to join our team at Richmond Campus. You will be working as part the Learning Resources Department which supports student achievement by providing learners with an environment that encourages and nurtures learning whilst utilising both physical and digital resources to enrich the student learning experience. You will play a key part in ensuring the Learning Resource Centre is a suitable learning environment at all times. &nbsp; You will handle enquiries from students and staff on busy service desks and by email and telephone, and assist students on using online resources, databases and print resources. &nbsp;You will have direct responsibility for liaison for a Curriculum Area within the College to support the purchase of resources.</p><p>Together with excellent communication and inter-personal skills, you should have good working knowledge of IT and experience gained in a busy, customer-focused environment. &nbsp;You will have the confidence to address young people aged 16-18 and manage behaviour effectively to maintain a positive learning environment.</p><p>The role is for 30 hours per week, working 10am - 5pm (1 hour lunch break) Monday to Friday.
