            <p id="isPasted">We have an opportunity for a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our fantastic Student Services department. This is a fixed term Maternity Cover post until August 2027. The candidate needs to hold a Level 6 Diploma in Careers Guidance and Development (or equivalent) and either hold or be willing to undertake a Careers Leadership qualification.</p><p>You will be expected to lead and provide line management for the Careers Advisors and undertake a lead role in the provision of professional careers advice and guidance as part of the Careers programme across the college, supporting the implementation of a strategy that supports the achievement of the Gatsby Benchmarks and prepares young people for future choices in education, training and employment.</p><p>This post is for 28.8 hours per week (4 days) and are flexible on which days are worked.             <p id="isPasted">We are seeking to appoint a full time Communication Support Worker to provide support for deaf and hard of hearing students at Richmond upon Thames College.</p><p>You will ensure that deaf and hard of hearing students are supported in class and are able to gain maximum access to the curriculum.             <p id="isPasted">We&#39;re recruiting for a Senior Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Richmond Campus. You will be working as part if the Inclusive Learning Team to provide additional learning support to students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities on mainstream programmes across college.&nbsp;</p><p>You will work as part of the Senior Learning Support Team under the direction of the Inclusion Manager, the EHC Co-ordinator to coordinate the provision of Inclusive Learning Support for students across all sites. &nbsp;The postholder will work effectively with curriculum teaching staff to provide advice and guidance on effective support strategies for both low level and High Needs students, and manage a team of Learning Support Assistants in the allocation of support areas and the completion of administration related to the role of an LSA.&nbsp;</p><p>The Inclusive Learning department provides one-to-one, workshops and in-class support for students with a wide range of needs on mainstream programmes. Students may need support with Specific Learning Differences (SpLDs) like Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), moderate learning difficulties, mental health, physical, sensory, health or medical needs<strong>.&nbsp;</strong>The department support a high number of students with Education Health and Care Plans<strong>.</strong></p><p>The Inclusive Learning team carry out exam access assessments with students and make recommendations for reasonable adjustments based on their normal way of working. &nbsp;The ILS team support the curriculum across college with reasonable adjustments and differentiating teaching and learning to meet individual student needs.
