We are recruiting for a full-time Accounts Payable Officer, to work in our Finance Department based at the Richmond Campus. 

To be successful the Finance Officer must have  strong communication skills as the postholder will be required to explain financial concepts to other departments within the business when required.  Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.   Attention to detail and knowledge of key financial concepts such as accruals and prepayments.  Additionally, have strong communications skills as there will be a lot of contact with key stakeholders including internal and external customers and suppliers.  A good time management and understanding of accounting systems, journals and month-end responsibilities in order to meet deadlines.

The interview date for this role will be scheduled for mid-September. 

Richmond upon Thames College is part of the Harrow, Richmond and Uxbridge College Group and is one of London’s most successful Further Education Colleges providing education and training to 16-19 year old’s and adults from across Richmond, London and Surrey, for over 80 years. We have opened a new building in 2020 and due to develop a brand-new technology-focussed STEM Centre for 2024.  This exciting and innovative new learning environment is located within the grounds of the current college site, so remains convenient for public transport links – it is adjacent to the A316 and just a short walk from Twickenham rail station and a number of regular London bus routes.
