We are currently finishing a construction of a new campus which is due to open in early 2020. One of the exciting facilities will be a theatre with seating for 160 people.

We have a rare job opportunity for an experienced theatre lighting technician to oversee all the lighting requirements for our students' performances.

An ideal candidate will be a qualified lighting technician, experienced in working on the theatre productions and managing theatre facilities. He/she will also have previous experience of running projects with 16-19 students.

The successful candidate will work primarily to Vocational Performing Arts Music and Media sections and will also support other areas of the Department as appropriate, e.g. exhibitions, performances or when generic technical support is needed at busy points during the academic year.

This role requires some flexibility with working hours, dependant on the operational need of the students, such as evening performances.
